THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026 Dr. Stephens is in Network for Aetna (Sunlife, Principal) and Cigna.

Delta Dental is the only provider who pays the patient back direct, so you would need to pay us first, then Delta reimburses you.

Although we might not be in network with your provider, we can still submit to any insurance company, you would just be responsible for the remaining balance.

Important Notice: Changes to Insurance Coverage Beginning January 1, 2027

We want to make sure our patients have plenty of time to plan ahead for an important change at our practice. Effective January 1, 2027, we will be transitioning to an out-of-network provider with all dental insurance plans.

What this means for you:

• We will still submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf
• Your insurer will either pay us or reimburse you directly based on your plan’s out-of-network benefits
• You will be responsible for the difference between the insurance payment and the cost of your care at the time of service
